Welcome @Mileymoo2020 🙂 You’d be surprised how many Type 1s are diagnosed as adults. It used to be thought to be a childhood condition, but more people over 30 are diagnosed with Type 1 than under 16. The oldest person to be diagnosed was in their 90s!

What insulins do you take? Have you got a Libre?

Welcome to the forum @Mileymoo2020

I’m another who got diagnosed with diabetes in their 20s.

How have you found things over the years? Are you a DAFNE-graduate carb counter, or more of a fixed-doses, regular meals kind of person?

Pens or pump? Libre? CGM? Any other fancy gadgets?

Any particular challenges, frustrations, or conundrums that have prompted you to connect with the forum?
