just noticed that one of my diabetic medications has been changed to Alogliptin. anyone else out there tried this one?

does say it works by increasing insulin to reduce BG in bloods not sure though till i get to try it.

I've just been changed onto alogliptin. Metformin side effects were just too much. 3 days now and no side effects so far but my readings have gone up slightly. Hope they come back down again when I settle down.
