Hi I was diagnosed in November as being diabetic type 2 my readings were around 24 most mornings when a friend tested me for a week 10 months before, they were still the same when I eventually went to the doctor for a check up, I must say all this time up to the visit I never felt ill at all.
Once diagnosed I was given medication and in less than 1 month I was so ill and run down, yes my readings were down to around 7 but I could not cope with the medication so I put the lot in the bin and decided I would try to do it with out tablets, all I have done is cut out all tea and coffee as I cant drink it without sugar and gone to beetroot juice ,pomegranate juice and plenty of water I also use CBD oil and a mushroom powder , reduced my bread and potato intake. I have got my morning readings down to 10 . my next step is to do some exercise which I have not done for 20+ years , although I am not overweight.
Looking forward to reading what you all do to keep your sugars down, and to try to get mine a little lower. thanks all.
