Glad you are home and feeling a little better, ......I don't understand why 'they' are happy to leave your insulin until next Tuesday if your Bs's are constantly high....makes no sense to me??

Me either, but hey, I'm only the diabetic and I was in no fit state to fight about it. Maybe they thought I had enough to cope with for now.

Glad to see you are home Ally 🙂 I would imagine that they are starting you on a relatively low dose and may increase it from there, rather than putting you at risk of hypos and lowering it until you don't have them any more 😉 They use some sort of calculation based on height, weight, age, BG levels etc. for an initial dose (can't remember the details - so many units per Kilo I think, plus the other factors). Hope you are more comfortable at home and that your pillow doesn't disappear if the hunger gets too great! Take care 🙂

Good to see you are home Ally, take things easy
