Airport security & flying with libre 2

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone with a libre 2 sensor or similar has flown recently and if so what happened at security.
I've read that I can't go through an xray machine with the sensor - is the thing you go through at security just a metal detector and is that OK with the libre ? Also when you put your hand luggage on the line and it goes through the scanner - can you put your spare sensors in the bag ?
Would risk putting in the suitcase but not sure if they get xrayed at some point.
And will it still work on the plane if phone is in airplane mode ? Only a 4 hr flight so nit the end of the world if not .

Advise from Freestyle site. I have been on many European flights with no trouble and been through scanners. Never had to take spares but i believe ok in hand luggage. Didnt use on plane in Airplane mode so can't answer that one.

I have used my sensor on the plane.
Often airplane mode will automatically turn off Bluetooth on your phone but this can be turned back on whilst maintaining airplane mode (I.e. not trying to connect to a mobile or wifi network).
My phone now remembers that airplane mode requires Bluetooth but it had to be told in the first place.

My sensors have been through scanners whilst attached to my body and in my hand luggage.
I don’t check in any diabetes kit on an outbound flight in case it arrives after me so everything is in hand luggage.
 
The only thing they shouldn't go through is the new full body x-ray scanners. The metal detector arch and x-ray machines for hand luggage are fine. Apparently the full body scanners are a different x-ray frequency/ strength to the hand luggage machines and the libre haven't been tested with them properly yet. I was also told to keep all medical supplies including spare sensors in hand luggage, this is probably just so that you don't run the risk of losing them but could also be due to low temperature in the hold or luggage not being handled particularly gently, I don't know.
