If you forget to take insulin injection before meal, is it safe to take it immediately after?
I'm sorry you feel the site is not what you expected, I wouldn't leave just because you had so many views and 0 responses this happens on many social media platforms and that Is fine, you'll realize people will respond when they got time.Thank you, Inka, for taking the time to send this succinct reply. I have come to diabetes late in life and not that long ago, so it's all relatively new. And whilst you can do a Google search if you have a query, the answer is often vague, and sometimes doesn't even relate to the question asked. So I came on here, being assured I would get help and advice from a friendly community. This hasn't really been my experience overall. For example, there were 51 views to this question but only one person bothered to reply. Now I realise it wasn't a very exciting question, but it was a genuine one from someone learning the ropes as it were So thanks, not, for your help. I am leaving this site now as it has proved, in my case, not to be what I expected.
When I viewed it, I saw that it had been answered. I didn't think I could improve on "yes" as an answer. 🙂For example, there were 51 views to this question but only one person bothered to reply.
You are not alone in being diagnosed late in life, many people are finding that it comes as a shock. I hope you will stick with visiting the site as you will get reliable advice. I suspect as others have suggested that they felt your question had been answered and unless you know more information about somebody's situation it is difficult to give a specific answer. There are many different medications that people are taking which may influence the response to a question. You will have got that many views as people usually scan all the new posts and maybe only reply to those they feel they can make a contribution to.Thank you, Inka, for taking the time to send this succinct reply. Or if there had been some nuance (which is more common: where different people might do slightly different things). (I do think I should have clicked on the Like button to indicate I agreed with the answer.)It was a correct answer - had it not been correct - you can be 100% certain that me, Patti, Bruce etc would have said so.
