My daughter had the libre sensor put on today at school, I planned on wrapping a bandage on it tonight just to make sure it stays on. I think it's a good idea just wanted to ask

I believe it is not recommended to completely cover the sensor.

Some use a tegaderm dressing and cut a hole in it, some find there is no need.

Hi 🙂

I use a tegaderm patch over my sensors but I also cut a circle of paper the size of a £2 coin and place it between the sensor and the tegaderm as if the film needs changed it wont tug on the sensor and risk pulling it off 🙂
Xx

Definately a good idea! My two have the Libre and they both cover it.

Use tubular bandage over my sensor, just get size bigger so doesn't compress sensor leading to low readings, keeps it secure and not had one fall off since using bandage.
