HI....

I've had oddly consistently high blood sugars for the past two days??

They have been pretty good over the past few weeks over night and now seem to be levelling out at around 9-10 over the past two nights????

They are also going into the teens as soon as I wake???

And Everytime I have some carbohydrates they go upto 15-16?! They're normally very controlled!

They are normally very controlled, why could this be?? I don't feel that I am sickening for anything...

Sometimes blood sugars can rise before there are any signs of illness show. The other thing to try fresh insulin.

Yep was away to say the same as grovesy, have you tried a new insulin cartridge, pen or whatever it is you use? x

Hope you get them stabilised soon 🙂 x

... and I'll just ask a question, cos it is one of the very first signs of something only ladies can get - called pregnancy!

Oops, there goes Jenny spreading flat panic among the virus ridden fertile ladies....😱

I always check a lady's age on her profile before mentioning things like this - but seriously Mike - in the past we've had T1's saying Oh dear, I must be sickening for something and we've all said There there, sick day rules, test your wee for ketones ..... and the following week asking How are you now - was it the lurgy? and there's been a photograph in reply - featuring something blue showing!

And these are sensible, intelligent young women. So presented with one - you just have to enquire. We're martyrs to our 'ormones Mike - surprised you hadn't worked that out!

All these posts have been written with an even bigger grin on my face than my avatar had at the time. It's just my normal face LOL

I know, Jenny, I was just teasing, honest. I once saw a case just like that in the surgery, and kept a straight face🙄

It's a good point Jenny has raised though, is it possible you could be pregnant @Lauren8443?
I had a 'surprise' pregnancy when I was on Cerrazette and hadn't even had a period for 3 years, that was a shock, even more so when I discovered it was twins 😱

I don't do things by halves, me!
