Goggles?! 😱

Seriously worth asking your GP about the "Fit Note" - I don't know for sure but as it's the new version of the old sick note I suspect they'd have a really hard time 'letting you go' if you were covered by a temporary fit note - the GP should be able to detail on it exactly what you can/can't do so it's clear for everyone.

All the best,

Thanks, I don't want to go down that road asking for a 'fit note' as this is only my second week! if it was months, then I would do it. I'm still doing all the things i normally do, its just that, hours of cleaning on a Saturday may be a bit too much, lots of bending down, especially with a hoover and a dustpan and brush. I will find out on Sat morning if I have 'lighter' duties, my eye is obviously my priority and theirs is the Pharmacy and keeping it ticking over, so to speak. Hopefully it work out well. Thanks again Sheena

Hope you manage to find a compromise. I imagine that normal pharmacy duties include lifting boxes, bending to place / remove things in cupboards / fridge / shelves etc, so they probably think cleaning isn't too different from those duties.
