Is it known if acupuncture has a detrimental impact on blood glucose/sugar levels - up or down or does it not directly impact blood glucose/sugar levels?
Does anyone have any observations?
 
I have had acupuncture several times since diagnosis, and it doesn’t have any effect on my BG.

I suppose if you were particularly stressed before the treatment, which would raise your BG, the endorphins released during treatment would relax any feelings of stress, and may help the control of BG, but that’s about the limit of any effect.

Mind you, I fully expect a slew of posts saying different, because we all are:D
