When going into "my data" then "view data" how can you tell from the bolus units displayed how much is for correctional & how much is for normal mealtime units?

I don't think you can. Howerver when you have just done the look test and are entering the carbs, I think it splits them then, the big number at the bottom is obviously the total but if you look higher up the screen I think it shows how much is correction.

Sorry that's not explained very well, next time we do a blood test I'll look properly and try to explain further!

Hello Gill

Have now had a fiddle with my Expert (which is almost the same as the pump handset but thought i'd better make sure)!

So when you have done your test, pressed Bolus and entered your carbs, before you press Confirm have a look at the screen.

At the very top is the BG result
Immediately underneath is a funny symbol with a little clock on it, the number to the far right of this is how many units are required as a correction.
Under that is the apple symbol with the number of carbs you entered, the number to the far right of that is how many units are needed for the carbs.
Under that is a heart symbol that says health, I never use that bit.
Underneath that it says Bolus, the number on the right of that is the total of the two above but rounded to the nearest whole unit so that you know how many to inject with your pen. (pump one doesn't need to round it so glad I checked the Expert itself!)

Then once you press Confirm it will just tell you how many units to inject.
Once you've done that however, there doesn't seem to be any way to get it to tell you again what the split was between carbs and correction.

Hope this helps 🙂

Thank you Sally 🙂
