anybody using this meter, what do you think, how accurate.

All meters work to an accuracy of plus or minus 10%, so for example, a reading of 6.0 could be 6.6 or 5.4. In practice though they are usually much closer. Accu chek are a good make - I have been using them for nearly 4 years (although a different machine to the mobile) - if you register your meter with Roche online then you can get free batteries and blood test diaries 🙂

thanks northerner, done that got the freebies appear to be excellent company

Most Accu-Chek meters are pretty accurate I've found - I changed to them last year when I got my pump, I have the one with the pump (a glorified version of the 'Expert') and also a 'Nano' as a spare 'in case'.

I had been using a One Touch for years (I mean I had had several new ones but always just replaced it with the same but updated version as they came out) and I hated the Accu-Chek at first and didn't really trust it because it read higher than my old one. Turns out the Accu was right and the OT wasn't.

I've been using the Accu-chek mobile for over a year now, and I think its very good. Best thing is no strips to get rid of, and the attached lancet device having 6 lancets in. Maybe a little bulky for some, but I use the free case accu-chek sent when I registered for the free batteries/ solutions.
