Accu-Check Aviva monitor - beeps !

Hi,

Does anyone know if you can / how to turn the meter 'beep' off....as it beeps when I turn it on, put in a strip, etc. etc.

I have to test with stealth and if I could turn off the beeping, would be a relief !

Instructions have gone AWOL...

Hi Helen,

not sure if this is the correct link for your exact meter ( I use a Bayer one), bt most websites have links to download manuals in PDF format (you will normally need Adobe Acrobat installed on your PC to read PDF files)

Anyway - this is a link to an Accu Check Aviva -click on the section labelled Related Products and then scroll down to about half way down the page to the downloads section and it offers a download for a Manual. Even if this is the wrong one, at least it takes you to the Aviva website and you can check for the corresponding page for your particular meter.

All done - and managed to change the time, from last October !

Will have to change again at the end of the month...but it's good practice 🙂
