Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
Hi everyone, I wanted to know if any other Type 1 folks have had really undependable inaccuracies in their scanned Blood sugar results compared to finger prick which I know is not 100%. I don't just mean when it's high or low as they warn about that. I've stopped using as a results as couldn't use for insulin calculation.

I found that the algorithm LibreLink to convert from Interstitial Fluid Readings to Blood Sugar did not suit me.
However, with daily calibrations, the algorithm used by xDrip is very usable for insulin calculations.
The added advantage is that I do not need to scan to get the results on my phone.

Sorry, I don't recognise xDrip would you kindly tell me where /how I 'get it'. Thanks, Elaine

It is non standard and available from GitHub.
It is definitely a techy tool. As I am an engineer, this suits me.

Ok, thanks I'll have a look. I worked in IT before I retired so I may be able to figure it out.

There is a very useful/helpful facebook group.
There is xDrip for Android and xDripIOS for Apple - two separate groups
