I just wanted to tell you all what a great lunch out I had. I took my grandson out for the day and we ended up at ASK for lunch. he ordered a pizza and I ordered a salmon salad. it was one of the best lunches out that I have had. the salmon was perfectly grilled.... and on a bed of rocket, spinach, cucumber, avocado and several different types of green beans (there should have been red onion and cherry tomatoes but I'm intollerant to both). it was a very good portion and if I had wanted a sweet then I wouldn't have had room for it 🙄

just shows that ASK does have the 'diabetic' option :D
 
MmM I love salmon sounds delicious Marcie beats my speghetti on toast lol x

the salmon salad was nearly ?12 😱 but the ingredients were first class and it was beautifully presented. but ASK isn't as expensive as Pizza Express


I should just mention that I have no financial interest in either of these restaurants
 
Look on VoucherCodes.co.uk , there are always offers at ASK and pizza express and many others. Usually 2 meals for one or something similar 🙂

Yes, we've signed up for ASK sending us emails. We usually get a promotional mail once ore twice a month. Mostly for 2 for 1s.🙂

At Pizza Express we usually pay with Tesco vouchers. So a meal for 4 costs about ?10 (vouchers are only accepted for food, not drinks)

omg!!! I'm such a fool paying the full amount😱 I'll make sure I get the vouchers for next time. I promised my grandson I would take him to cinema straight from school one day in the week as it was far too crowded this week.... and at 2 for 1 we could also have a meal instead of a rubbish fast-food high carb rubbish lol

Go to the ASK website and sign up!!! Pizza Express too.!!
 
VoucherCodes also has Zizzi, Pizza Hut, Prezzo, Carluccio's ( sometimes) Gourmet burger ... and clothes, holidays etc. Well worth a look :D
 
Just to cheer you up Macast - we went to ASK yesterday and paid FULL PRICE. We wanted to go for lunch in our favourite pub, but it was very busy and they told us the wait would be over 30 minutes. So we went to ASK instead.

The Calzones we had were only ?3 more each than each pubmeal and as Mike didn't have a pint, the drinks were cheaper. So, all in all it wasn't much more expensive, especially as Mike might have had a second pint while waiting for the food in the pub.😉
 
One other point... Pizza Express ( who do a nice 'light pizza with a polo shape and salad put in the middle) make it so you can put the voucher on your phone , as do Zizzi , very useful, no printer needed and you can refresh them when the date has passed by just using another !

now that is a good idea having the voucher on your phone:D thanks Ann.... I've had one of the polo pizzas.... but I just can't eat white bread these days.... I'm best sticking to the salad only 🙂

thanks Monica..... makes me feel a bit better knowing that someone else paid full price lol. I didn't mind as the food was really lovely.... but a discount is always welcome 😛
