I’m about to come up to 1 year type 2. When I started I had a mmol/l of 29 and mg/dl of 129. My fasting mmol/l now comes in at around 8 and mg/dl at 80. I feel I’ve done well with an entry level meds. Could I have others opinions on this result. I know there is still work to do.

@ElliD that is certainly a lot better than where you were at diagnosis.
Presumably you are still hoping for lower numbers, but the way you put it, are you expecting them to come from medication or further alteration in you diet?

I think it’s got to be both. I have upp’d my met Forman now to 2000mg a day as I have tolerated well. I have just got a script for metabet but not started. I must continue to pick up hints and tips for diet and do my part.

I'm a little confused as to why you mention mg/dl, are you sure you don't mean mmol/mol as the results of your Hba1C. The others being from finger prick readings.
What medications are you on as your levels are still a bit higher than you really want so there may be something more you can do with tightening uo on your diet but it would depend on the meds.

Do you mean a mmol/l of 29 and an HbA1C of 129 @ElliD ?

That is just the slow release version of metformin (a branded name), it is often tolerated better then the standard version.
If you are looking to make some further dietary changes then this link may be helpful.
