Relationship to Diabetes

It's my 46 year Diaversary this month. Not quite as long as some people on the forum but I'm pleased that I've made it 🙂 This year has probably been the toughest but my last two HBA1C's have been 6.7. My only diabetic complications, touch wood are gastroparesis - which is a pain but still manageable, background retinopathy and mild foot neuropathy which doesn't affect me in any way. The things that affect my quality of life, apart from the Gastroparesis, are not diabetic complications. I still have a great life and enjoy my wine :D
 
Well done on making it to where you have Amanda. You have had your fair share of problems recently. Keep smiling and have a glass or 3 to celebrate. XX

Wow AJ! That is a long time. What amazes me is that you are always so positive. You are an absolute inspiration to me. I hope you have a lovely celebration and that you have a better year from now on. You have certainly had your difficulties but have always come through them with good humour and determination. Well done 🙂
