Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1.5 LADA
It's the third anniversary on Halloween of my being correctly diagnosed as a 1.5, LADA or ongoing Type 1 (that should keep everyone happy as to the terminology !) - how appropriate it should be that date in the calendar with all the other ghoulies and ghosties - and Diabetes too.

Now how shall I celebrate ? A nice big jammy doughnut ? 😱 Jacket potato and pizza ? 😱 or shall I be good for once in my life ? :(

Spooky happy diaversary for Monday Faith :D why break the habit of a lifetime misbehave your so good at it 🙂🙂.
When it was my anniversary I had the first meal I ever made as a diabetic twas all very boring

I didn't celebrate my first anniversary, and so now I cant remember when it was...........end of the summer holidays I think.........was a school boy.......:D

Congraulations, well sort of, what about a nice Toffee Apple, part healthy/part halloweenish😉 Sheena
 
Pumpkin Pie and bobbing for apples! :D It may not seem it, but it is a good day to celebrate, getting a proper diagnosis so you could get appropriate treatment, so I hope you have a wonderful day! 🙂
 
The (rather gorgeous) young Doctor who took some blood when I was admitted to hospital was much more successful in getting blood out of me than my own Doctor had been at the surgery. When I remarked on this he said "I'm being a good little vampire tonight". 😱
 
LOL err well, 'happy' Diaversary :D

Mine was the Tuesday immediately following my best-friend's wedding day. But can never remember the exact date and so just ask her occasionally how long they've been married and what the heck was the date in July? (20 something, poss 27th??)
