At risk of diabetes
So 4 weeks ago I had a blood test and my HbA1c came back at 61. I asked the Dr. To allow me 4 weeks and do the blood test again and if I managed to get it into the 50’s, to give me a further 8 weeks to get it lower. I had the second blood test last Friday and my results came back in at 47. You could have knocked me over with a feather, I know it’s still pre diabetic but if I can do that in 4 weeks, I will do everything I’m my power to drop that number like a sack of spuds. A little determination goes a long way

Well done but determination helps but it’s not everything. If the result goes up in the future it won’t mean you weren’t determined enough. Just that there’s a limit to what your body can do.

Many congratulations on an absolutely fantastic result in such a short space of time and wishing you lots of luck in hopefully reducing it further in the coming months. I hope your GP was suitably impressed too!
Well done!

Thank you so much for your kind words and yes, the Doctor sure was, he said he had to look at the results twice lol.

Brilliant achievement @Sheryl3F Keep it up. Well done. I’ve got my first check up/appointment for bloods next week and no matter how hard you work it’s the result that tells you everything. You must be thrilled.

Thank you so much, it was hard work but we’ll worry it. I wish you all the best for your results, I will have my fingers and toes crossed for you

Congratulations @Sheryl3F - you must be delighted!
