At least after changing to 320 mg of gliclazide I know it's working to some extent at least.

More annoying was that I did not listen to what my body was saying :( in that I was feeling cold and shaking for a while before I tested, should of known I was going hypo but it's so long ago it sort of caught me by surprise in a way.

Only a mild one of 3.9, so twigged in time it's an easy fix and an excuse to have a treat. 🙂

Good awareness pav, just make sure your instinct is to test and treat as soon as that shaking starts! 🙂

Agree should of tested earlier, thinking about it, it was probably my second hypo as never tested the other night when I had the munches attack. Crazy thing something has changed from from previous hypos ages ago, ended up with the munches attack after the easy fix, this time for Xmas pud and custard which has been in the cupboard for well over a year. What was worse I caved in which meant no tea as levels shot up thankfully not to high, but high enough to stop me having tea.

Just hope these munchy attacks don't happen with every hypo, I am trying to loose weight not put any on, thankfully there's nothing like the Xmas pud left in the house, should of really chucked it in the bin ages ago.

A friend has been asking what my hypo / hyper symptoms are and trying to explain to her what they are and if necessary how to check what's happening when I get a hypo. Looks like I need to add the new added weird symptom of me having a hypo :D

I did not always get the same hypo symptoms when I was Gliclazide.

3.9 only a mild one your a brave man well done getting out of it
