If it's desirable to try and get you're sugars below 8.5 2hrs after eating is there a reasonable number for 1 hour?

Would a jump from 4.8 - 8.9 be too big after a chicken chasseur with new potatoes (I had more than my usual 3 new potatoes - I had 5🙄) followed by a sugar-free jelly.

Please don't tell me it could be the jelly at this moment in time its my only luxury.... Amanda 🙂

I would say that is normal/acceptable and that the potatoes were very likely the main contributing factor...........

as the jelly was sugar free, your OK.............:D

What a relief about the jelly....bought some more packs tonight; blackcurrant and favourite (lemon and lime).... Thank you. 🙂
