Saw this today. Seems really interesting that something so quick can check for so many different things at once.

Also not that surprising that the lady talking about diabetes in her family doesn't mention which type 🙄

The core of Randox Health Checks is the measurement of biomarkers. Biomarkers are chemical signals that are released into the blood or other bodily fluids during the development of a disease or condition. Measuring a series of biomarkers enables the signs and risk factors for various diseases to be identified.

Would you be willing to pay ?150 for this kind of test?

Actually, no, I definitely wouldn't - can you imagine how many 'preventative' pills and potions they would have you on? 😱

As for diabetes lady, I've never considered that I have been 'struck down' by diabetes, I've simply acquired a chronic, but manageable condition that has in many ways (and paradoxically) resulted in improvements in my health and well-being 🙂

That could be true, but I'm sure you could find more natural, healthy ways of making improvements in areas that may help reduce the risk for areas they've identified. Just depends on what advice they try and give after this test I suppose.

What a daft photo - looks like 2ml of reddish coloured fluid being injected into muscle of upper arm, not blood being taken from a vein.

No wonder she's wincing! And I bet he's not a real doctor! 😱 😉
