To be honest personally, I’ve had no undesirable side effects of Mounjaro myself there’s a few people on here that take it that I know of some on prescription and I know people (off the forum) who self fund I’ve even helped a good friend of mine access it (on a private prescription) following...

    Mountjaro help please

Thank you so much for your response. They were initially so clear, that I wouldn't qualify for it on a weight basis which was fine I understood that and the conversation was never about weight loss, it was always about diabetes. But then In the appointment they were talking about a goal for...

    Mountjaro help please

...up and post that link, just as I was replying to you @Suzanne1 I was thinking somebody with better knowledge of where various advice can be found would help, I’m just someone who uses Mounjaro but not a expert on where DiabetesUK has posted all the good advice and access to great resources...

    Mountjaro help please

...please don’t get worried, although think you need to speak to your GP as I’m sure what you’ve been told is incorrect you will qualify for Mounjaro under the current guidelines (although possibly not if you weren’t Diabetic) like you said you have previously been prescribed other meds that...

    A different kind of Christmas.

My mum's 88 and so I don't care what we do at Christmas as long as she's happy. I still feel guilty that one year (more than 20 years ago) my then-partner and I spent Christmas in Tunisia, to escape family .

    A different kind of Christmas.

    Update

...and definitely much harder work! I have no doubt I shall be aching tomorrow, but maintaining muscle is going to be so important once I go on Mounjaro. So, I’m kinda proud of myself today. it would be so easy to stick my head in the sand and pretend diabetes isn’t happening to me - believe...

    Group 7-day waking average?

I was initially diagnosed some 22 years ago with T2, had 4 years on Metformin and then 1 year on Metformin with Glibenclamide. During this 5 year period my HbA1c climbed from 71 through to 144 at which point I came off the oral meds and went onto insulin which I have been on since then (about...

    Hello

Welcome to the forum @joseppi030475 Sorry to hear you didn’t get on with Mounjaro How have things been going over the last 3 years? Can you remember your most recent HbA1c? Is there anything in particular you are finding frustrating or difficult at the moment, with your diabetes management?

    Group 7-day waking average?

I’m been to Havana in real life. Very unusual city. There’s music everywhere, very noisy, vibrant….until you come to the shops. There’s nothing in them, folks queuing outside a shoe shop with about three pairs in the window. There’s a dark side to it but still fascinating. Probably the most...
