Just joined the forum and hope it is appropriate to post this.I have 12 boxes of Contour Test Strips Ref 84669997 which I wish to give away free.Contacted local health people who told me to bin them!,what a waste as they are all in date.

There are pay it forward groups on Facebook if your on there and nobody here wants them xx

Welcome to the forum @jtosh

Yes unfortunately the ‘chain of custody’ rules are quite strict, and you can‘t generally return prescribed medicines once they have left the pharmacy - in case they have been tampered with, or whatever.

If the ‘pay it forward’ groups don't appeal, you could consider IDDT, a charity who redistributes in-date diabetes medicines etc to developing countries

(though you would have to hang on to them until covid19 settles down!)

You have already had any advice I would have given you, so I will just add my welcome to the forum.
A good place for any questions that you.

Thanks for yr advice,IDDT sounds best bet.

Glad to have helped. As I say, you’ll have to hold onto them for a while as they aren’t collecting during coronavirus.
