I hope someone can help me here.
For the last few months I have found the usual feelings I get when heading south of 4 I've tested and found myself to be around 12 ( always between 11.5 to 12.5 )
Anyone else have this happen and is there an explanation?
Any help appreciated.

Are you sure these feelings aren't anything to do with the 70-80 tablets you take a day?

Most of the tabs I've taken for 15 years or more. I actually get the visual signs as well, shakey etc.
My real lows start with a fluttering in my heart which as I go lower those fluttering turn into shakes and I get the exact same feelings and I honestly cannot tell them apart at first.
The only difference is as a real low takes more effect you know your having a hypo.

Well 11.5 or 12 is too high, so maybe your innards are objecting to that? Admittedly they usually object without warning us, but why complain if they ARE telling you?

I have a few ’high’ and ‘low’ symptoms that occasionally overlap... gnawing hunger, irritability, and a slightly ‘spaced out’ feeling it’s easy to convince myself might be happening if I happen to be in a situation where I can’t check BG and could easily be either high or low, for some reason (eg hard to estimate foods, combined with some form of activity)

Its very annoying!

I too quite often find that I get very similar symptoms to the start of a hypo around the 10 mmol mark. I get shaky legs, heavy arms, feel a bit heady and heart pounding. Like you, if it is a hypo, you soon know as it progresses but I often get that feeling and think I must be heading low, but then when I test I am in that 9-11 range. It usually happens in the morning when I am mucking out my horses. Timing of my bolus insulin on a morning is really critical as I have to wait at least 45 mins for my Fiasp to work before I eat or an hour plus for NR, so if I get it wrong I can see quite a lot of variation in my readings, meaning I have little idea if a hypo is likely or I might be high. I make a point of testing every time I feel like that because it is not worth ignoring a potential hypo, but 19 times out of 20 I am on the high side. Oddly I don't feel so bad when I get up to 12-15 but that 9-11 range seems to trigger a response similar to a hypo for me.

Ahhh thanks for that, i feel better knowing that it may just be normal for me and i just test each time to be safe.
