Thanks from Debbie and Slim Jim too you are a great asset to us all, always quick to help with sensible advice

I was thinking about what a great job Mike and everyone who helps the forum were doing. I belong to a knitting gp on Facebook and they decided to close the group for new members as the moderators didn't want to deal with new people at the moment, just when these types of groups are most useful and people should be at their most welcoming. I thought immediately of this forum and how welcoming it has been at this time (and always,) to new members. If our forum which is dealing with import health issues can take the time to help people out, I have no idea why a knitting gp can't get its act together. Well done Mike and the team.

Couldn’t agree more, well done and thank you Mike x

Thank you mods. :D

Thanks go to not Just Mike but everyone else who contributed info on the forums .
We are all in this together and if we are all sensible and follow the health authorities guidelines we'll get through it together

Couldn‘t agree more @Billy Bob - it’s been a real team effort and the mods and members of our lovely forum have really risen to the challenge.

Lots of people arriving very worried and confused, with anxiety about what to do, have been welcomed with open arms, and greeted by calm heads and helpful suggestions.

What was that advert that used to say something about ‘not making a drama out of a crisis’? You’ve all been amazing. Thank you!

It is at times like this that bring people together and always make me remember that for every negative we always find more positives . Thanks Mike and keep up the good work . Nigel

Ahhh @Robin what a truly thoughtful post! Well done. And of course HUGE thanks to @everydayupsanddowns – solid and unwavering, as always. You rock.

This forum has always been my go-to for advice and support that far outweighs anything I've received from clinics. I'm a much happier, healthier and well-informed T1 with the support from everyone connected on here.

What can i say that hasn't been said. Well Mike from your profile picture to the level headed responses you give to the forum family. You sort of exude common sense in your answers. I often read posts but depending on how i am feeling its one way traffic as in just reading. You look like a bloke i worked with in the early eighties. he was laid back yet brimming with confidence and always willing to help others. Bit like yourself. Keep up the good work🙂..

I have always loved how friendly and welcoming this forum has been for newbies (and old farts such as me😉), and as everyone has said, this is especially important at times like this.

....and another mahoosive thank you from me as well Mike. You're an inspiration and the forums rock to keep the forum sane and calm amidst all the recent anxiety & fear of the Coronavirus. I'm very grateful for all the advice you have freely given not only to myself but to every member that needed it:D
I bet it couldn't have been easy to follow in @Northerner's footsteps but you're doing a mighty damn good job of it my friend. Take care and stay safe.
