Where i live up north. St.Helens to be precise. Our local children have been painting/ drawing pictures of rainbows to stick in the window. The idea being to cheer people up when they are participating in their daily walk. I know its the lgbt or gay pride flag but i'm sure they don't mind the kids borrowing it for such a worthwhile cause. Whilst out clapping for the nhs a 4 year old neighbour who was also out clapping (with his mum of course) has offered to paint one for each house in the cul-de-sac.

I wondered why there were rainbows in the windows yesterday in my walk back from the pharmacy. Thanks for explaining.

There was a report on the T.V. yesterday good for you kids.

Ah thanks for the explanation @Hepato-pancreato

I had also seen a lot in windows and assumed it must be something, but didn’t quite know what it was!

Here is the rainbow painted by my little neighbour Harry. (With a little help from mum). So funny when he came, tap, tap , on letterbox not tall enough to reach the knocker. Placed rainbow in the porch then he and mum were half way down the drive to distance themselves. I threw him a £1 coin to put in his piggy bank. Off he went pleased as punch to john's next door.
