In this wonderfully supportive community, I just wondered if anyone has noticed anyone missing that is usually online? I'm not the most active on here, but all the names I recognize, I think I've seen posting. Maybe we can use this thread to put a shout out to anyone we're thinking about?
 
Good idea, I can’t think of anyone at the moment, it normally takes me ages to notice someone’s absence, but eventually I think, oh, haven’t seen x posting for ages, wonder if they’re OK.

@Lanny has been missing for months , @Kaylz tried reaching out and heard nothing back. I have noticed I think her real name is Juilette, cant remember her user name and could not find a list of members to search, has not been around for a couple of weeks. Her picture is an orange flower.

I was thinking of our friend who used to post, Vince Vic? I was away a while and when I came back online he wasn't here. :(

What a lovely thread. @missclb - grannylorraine was on this morning 7.58 (hovering over peoples names will show when they last logged on, if they have privacy setting to allow this? and if this technical info is correct? - but im sure i read her post on 'How You All Doing', think shes feeling a little anxious presently).

Vince who spent time in China, he has not been on here for a long time.
 
Don’t forget, some folk (like Amigo particularly) have more important things to do than hang around here. I split my forum time between here and the Pancreatitis forum. I don’t doubt if there were a PLS forum I would rarely appear here, but PLS is a genuine orphan disease. All the folk with PLS in the UK could meet in a junior school hall.
In fact, I may take a break from here for a while, because I’m getting bored with coronavirus. There’s only one thread on the pancreatitis forum about the subject, and everyone there is at the same risk of severe illness as folk with diabetes. Go figure.
 
Hear hear @mikeyB , I know people are scared but this is starting to feel more like a Coronavirus Forum rather than a diabetes forum. Today I managed to allow myself to get involved in a stupid tit-for-tat with someone, trying to prove a point, which really isn't me and I’m not proud of myself. That sort of thing is precisely why I refuse to have anything to do with any other social media. So I think it might be a good idea if I try to tear myself away from this forum for a few days and concentrate on my family during these difficult times.

I agree re all the Coronavirus threads appearing on here though I do understand that people are worried and that’s some posters just want to pass on up to date info . TBH I tend to stay out of those threads as I am starting to feel I would love to bang some people’s heads together ,not necessarily people on here . Many neighbours have battened down the hatches like I have but some are totally ignoring it and carrying on as normal.
