Fridge has been left open a few inches for at least half an hour,
Haha, I used to like a good sauna session as well! No but it's pretty close to the cooker and the oven had been on earlier, half an hour is an estimate but it would actually be nearer an hour I reckon, think my insulin will still be ok with that? I closed the door as soon as I found it open, I don't ask for much and just think it's very careless as its not themselves they could be harming, pretty stressed as it is at the moment, am I worrying about nothing? xxPresuming you don't keep your fridge in your sauna, half an hour's not likely to make much difference.
was kind of hoping you'd appear with something abrupt and straight to the point, it does always bring a wee chuckle haha, it wouldn't be likely to freeze when the door was eventually re shut? I don't know about those kind of effects lol, thanks I'll try and put it to the back of my mind xxKaylz - insulin can be kept at room temperature for at least one month anyway so I cannot imagine in my wildest fantasy that it would spoil that ruddy quick - unless someone had sat with a huge fan heater on high blasting inside the fridge door. And remember - the cartridges are inside preformed plastic, which has the patient info leaflet wrapped round them and then that's inside a cardboard box - it's not like the cartridges are in the fridge unprotected like a milk bottle.
I’m sure they'll be fine,as Jenny @trophywench says, they are insulated with several layers inside their box.was kind of hoping you'd appear with something abrupt and straight to the point, it does always bring a wee chuckle haha, it wouldn't be likely to freeze when the door was eventually re shut?
