Freestyle Libre supply problems?

Has anyone been told of supply problems with the freestyle Libre sensors?

My chemists told me they are taking two weeks to arrive in Coventry. This is a major problem as we have the assinine Prescription Ordering Direct (POD) system which restricts how often you can order things. So now my last sensor has reached the end and I'm probably not getting another for a week. My GP's won't even allow me a 'spare' - they have no say in my diabetes care and they're sulking like spoiled children about it.

Yes, there do seem to be some hitches in the NHS supply chain, though not from Abbott direct, see this thread:-

Hi, yes I did look and only found posts a year old. This is a new problem for me, I've been getting them (just in time) for 6 months. Now I can't get one for another week.

Yes, it does indeed seem to be a problem.

Any other Coventry users suffering the double whammy of the appalling POD and supply issue?

I've order two sensors direct from Abbott so that I do have a spare or two in future. Doubt I'll get a refund from my CCG for these though.
