Sorry if this has been asked before i have looked....

So my sensor runs out tomorrow at a time when I'd like to know what is going on.

If i apply my sensor in the morning or even tonight, so long as i don't get confused which one to use then i start the new one when old expires I'll still get a full 14 days out of it yes?

Feeling it's a stupid question...

Cheers, ta....

Yes, the clock doesn’t start ticking til the new sensor is activated. And don’t worry about accidentally scanning the new one, if your reader does pick it up instead of the 'in use' one, it'll ask you if you want to start a new sensor, and you can choose 'no' and then make sure you hover over the right one.

You can actually use both at the same time should you wish not to have an hours gap in the activation period, so if you use a reader and a phone you can activate the new one with reader and let it warm up for the hour while still scanning the old one with your phone until it ends xx

Brilliant. Why had this never occurred to me before Kaylz? Did it today. Great tip, thank you....every days a school day and all that...

I think it used to be necessary to scan with the phone within the 1 hour startup. (I guess even then you do much the same, but it would have required careful timing. Regardless, I think that limitation's no longer present so it ought to be easier.)

No problem 🙂 Bruce is correct though, its only possible to do so since the update, before the update the phone had to be used in a one hour window but now can be added at anytime xx
