At risk of diabetes
Dear all,

A student at the University of Chester in her third year is studying Nutrition and Dietetics. As part of her dissertation project entitled, ‘Body Shape Concern and Appreciation in Females With and Without Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus: A Comparative Study’, she requires participants to complete the following questionnaire. This research will hopefully allow us to gain a greater understanding of why those with type 1 diabetes appear to have a greater risk of developing an eating disorder.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could take the time to fill in the following questionnaire. You are eligible if you are

· Female

· 18 years and above

· Have a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes

· Have no previous or correct diagnosis of an eating disorder

The survey will be open until the 15th of February and is available to be completed at any time you please.

The survey can be found on the following link: https://chester.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/type-1-diabetes-body-image-perception-copy

Thank you for your time.

Bethany

I did it yesterday.

Not something I've ever spent too much time actually thinking about - ever.
