Hey, it's normal to be scared. Ketones are scary but drink plenty of fluid & have plenty of rest. Are you following sick day rules? How high are ketones?

Thank you for your reply it was week last sat my suagrs went 14.9 for frist time year half as got a cold I am drinking plenty rest and done sick day rules but not sure what they are told rest and drink plenty ?

Only had warning about keytones on blood machine and since then been testing my urine sample an all clear just seeing that last week gave me panic attacks and aniexty

Hi what are the sick day rules thank you
if you click on the link Mike has provided above it takes you to a page with various information on Type 1 but a PDF to download the sick day rules

what meter are you using? do you not have a meter that can check for blood ketones? as urine lags behind blood so they are more useful, if you don't then I suggest you ask your team if you could get one
xx
