Hi
Does anyone use this bread or is it just as bad as the rest of the breads

There are a few of the members use it and have good success with it but as everyone is individual the key would be to test it for yourself so the usual test before eating it and then again 2 hours later and ideally you'd want to see no more than a 2-3mmol rise from pre meal reading xx

There are other low carb breads - Livlife, for instance, which I find in Waitrose, or the protein bread which is sold at Asda the Polish delicatessen. Both are 4 gm of carbs per slice.
As those shops are convenient for me I don't look further afield, but Hovis, if it is really low carb should be OK to try, but do test to check.

I bought this until it went AWOL from our area.

I buy Burgen, Livlife or Hovis Nimble, all of which are ok for me, and also ok for Mr Marten whose HbA1c was on the cusp at 43. He gets annual checks as his mother was, and brother is, type 2.
