A bit of backstory. After changing workplace I found that other colleagues are normally going to eat in acouple of cafeteria. Initially I have gone with them on both the places, but I found that both of them are lacking on some aspects and I started to gain weight and have some other problems, high blood pressure and HbA1c were rinsing. I have had a really bad episode of high blood pressure, so I decided to stop to go in these places and instead everyday buy some prewashed salad bowl and some delicatessen like cheese, ham, sausages, roastbeef of fish from the deli counter, some beverage like coke zero or sizzling water, sometimes an orange and then if it's a sunny day I eat in a bench in the park nearby or I go back to the office. Sometimes I eat with the sysadmin that has a bento box and take food from home. The supermarket is at1 km from the office, but for me the walk isn't a bug but a feature and if I need to buy some other things, like batteries, soap or the like it's convenient.
By the way after stopping to go to the cafeterias for lunch I started to lose weight and the blood pressure is back to reasonable values.
I am going with the collegues sometimes to one of the cafeteria and get coffee with whipped cream. Not the best food but are a couple of spoonful of cream.

The other day one of the coworked asked to me why I have stopped to go with them to the cafeteria, I explained that the food was too fat and unhealthy and of low quality. He replied that I was eating bad due the whipped cream and the coke zero that was un healthy. By the way he is normally eating a vegan (aka made with margarine and not butter) croissant filled with jam or chocolate cream at the coffe in the cafeteria.

Personally I continue to go to buy food at the supermarket and don't give a think about the opinion of other, but I find that a lot of people don't have correct information on food.

Cant disagree really.
Cream, sausages, ham , butter, beef, not exactly some thing you can eat and tell people their diet is too fat.
Totally the wrong type of (saturated) fat to be eating if you want to eat healthily.
Vegan is fine on the other hand normally.

I have to disagree, because ham is low fat

Parma Ham* Parma Ham with fat removed**

Proteins 25.9 g 29.1 g
Lipids 18.3 g 6.4 g
Carbohydrates 0.3 g 0.4 g
Energy value 269 Kcal/1127 Kj 176 Kcal/734Kj

We are talking about no carbs and a low numer of fats, same thing about beef. And of course quantity matters, because 10 g of crem coul have at most 10g of fats - a vegan croissant of 200 g has surely more saturated fats inside, and surely had a lot of refined sugars and starches.

No.
I'm not really interested in low carbs to be fair.
Avoid red meat, and definitely avoid processed meat.
Just avoid the unhealthy saturated fats, then low fat generally.
With you on the salad though.
