Morning,
Looking at downloading a Diabetes App for Iphone, wondered what the best app was.....any ideas?

Sorry Phil, I have an android phone.
What do you want the app to do for you?
Is it to download stuff from your pump?

I use Diasend to download everything from my pump, handset and Libre which is then collated for me and I can share it all with my consultant. Very easy to interpret the charts and graphs if that is the sort of thing you are after. I use it on my lap top but I think that it is available for iPads as well.

Ideally yes, I use an Insight pump but hate the meter so use an aviva expert meter. Just wondered if there were any apps out there that type 1s use and get on with. I am in an “Apple” household, Iphone, Imac, Ipad.

Check out Diasend and see if it is compatible.
Very easy to do the download, and saves me loads of time from the collation I used to do onto the Libre graphs. This just gathers it all together and marks up blood tests, shows percentage in target, ...
I find it very useful for reviews.

Thanks for your advice, I think I had a box many years ago, just tried to log on and create an account on the Diasend page to get another box but is not allowing me to log on .......strange!

I’ve been using mySugr app on iPhone & it’s really good.🙂

I think it was designed for children because of the doabetes monster to be tamed by your control but, it’s really good at tracking blood sugars, what you eat in grams of carbs, insulin & other medication doses, before & after meals readings, exercise you do, weight, your hbA1c’s & a very useful estimated from your blood sugar readings projected HbA1c readings if you have a diabetic review coming up to give you an idea!

You can download the free app & there’s no need to purchase the paid for pro app as the extra features become unlocked if you continue to use the free app & complete the challenges. The challenges are good to keep you motivated.

Also, there’s a diabetic monster to be tamed & it’s rather fun to hear the baby gurgles, giggles & laughter of good blood sugar readings that are in range: makes me feel happy!

And hear the shocked exclamations, nonchalant whistling, so sweet when high or dazed spaced out sounds when low: makes me laugh & I don’t feel quite so bad about posting an awful figure!

You get fortnightly reports emailed to you. You can also get reports printed out of everything you inputted to hand in to your team during reviews.
