Well, it was certainly quick. I only had the thing yesterday morning and the DN did tell me the result would be back in two days. So me being me, I decided to check and it was there. The result was 39.9 mmol/mol which when I checked the conversion table is 5.8. Of course there is no other info on the site only that it falls within the normal range (whatever that may be). So I presume I simply carry on. 🙄. Just want to thank everyone for all their help and support with my numerous questions - but don't think I have stopped there will always be questions...Even my knees feel stronger. Off to do my physio stuff on the stairs🙄

Wow, that was a quick result, I have to wait over a week for mine 😱 great result though Sharron, well done you on managing things so well :D

That is fantastic. Well done you.

Your Hb1ac is in the muggles range ( technical term for a non diabetic 😉:D)

This chart will show you just how well you’ve done

I was also surprised at the speed I kept on checking to see if i was reading the right thing but yup it was in the result box. So, I think it is now time to carry on and not overthink it too much. As for the GP and any advice... none whatsoever🙄

Many thanks - now it is time to carry on and not fret so much. I think I will stick with the well-managed diabetic although have had a few 'discussions' with people who think I could say non - diabetic. But I believe I will always be a diabetic but hopefully a well-managed one which suits me.😎

There you go Sharron! A couple of months looking after yourself - and got it cracked!

Thank you and now it is a case of continuing which is not too much of a problem. I am so used to it. I am so grateful I found the website and have been given so much advice and support from people I don't even know:D.

Thank you. As I keep on saying, just carry on. Apparently I am now allowed to say I am in remission. Not an expression I choose to use, prefer well-managed. Probably the only bit of my temperament that is well-managed.🙄
