I also am dyslexic, typing takes a long time, I can only read short posts and no chance of reading medical studies, I just edit alot or read over and over until Iget my posts right, grammar is a complete mystery to me so I just do my best not to sound like a complete idiot.

you sound very good to me!

Well posted @WHT the more quality info the better.

Unlike Yoda I hope you do 🙂.

I think I had a missing word in that Yoda post!

I went to our GP's and although they don't have a specific diabetes nurse, they've booked me in next week for half an hour with a nurse who will be happy to advise and discuss with me (they have a letter from my mum allowing me to discuss her conditions with them).
I've started a list, No. 1, sugar cravings - wanting chocolate! Just had a terrible phase of that whihc had me asking at the surgery for the nurse. I don't keep it in the house and if on a rare occasion I am given any, I keep it in the salad section of the fridge behind the lettuce because she won't look there! :D🙄

Hidden within plain sight! LOL! Best method.

When we removed 'all sugar' from house; MIL started using 'icing sugar'.... something I didn't think about. . .not understanding diabetes it was a drop into local docs surgery to find out what to do if things went west! To be told 'removed the icing sugar'.

I don't have that in the house, but I have to keep a bag of sugar for breadmaking and any visitors who have it in their tea/coffee. It's on an out of reach shelf! A bag of sugar seems to last forever!
