Thank you, Doctors orders to get a grip! I can't believe the dramatic difference so quickly!Welcome to the forum Handypat and well done, a great success and so quickly.
What prompted you to make the change? Was it the rising BG levels?
Thank you, I won't lie it's a challenge, I find breakfasts the most difficult .Great news @Haydnpat! 🙂 Are you enjoying your new diet?

That is fantastic news. Well done
Not sure what you like for breakfast, but one thing I tried, and now stick to because it is so tasty, is Hemsley and Hemsley’s Kettle porridge. I was one for muesli and thinking that was good for me, but once I started to reduce my carbs I stopped that. The kettle porridge is based on quinoa flakes, along with nuts, seeds, coconut. All very tasty along with yogurt. It also takes a bit of time to eat so along with the lower glycemic index enables me to keep my BG rise to a blip rather than the steep mountain I had before. The other thing I now do (partly because I need to know my carbs) is I weigh it out. With spoonfuls I found I could easily overload and be tempted to increase the amounts I was having.Thank you, I won't lie it's a challenge, I find breakfasts the most difficult .
Hi, I haven't heard of the porridge, I'll look for it. I have been eating eggs, but struggle with them early morning if I'm honest. I agree with about the toast! I have been having Greek yoghurt with flaxseed and a sprinkle of cinnamon, finding that the most palatable.i have a fruit and nut oral allergy which helps a lot. Not! Otherwise scrambled, poached, ... eggs are good, but I then find it hard to resist toast to go with it!
