Just been checking through emails after returning from my holiday and I've had an email from gp about my recent blood tests. The way my surgery do things is blood tests taken, 3 gps sit down together who all specialise in diabetes who discuss the results and then patient is notified of what actions to be taken next.
It states in there that I have very good control, even though my hba1c is up from 6 months ago and if anything it is on the low side????? It's currently 49!
No further action required, apart from making an appointment with nurse for bp and foot check. No appointment needed to see the gp at all.
Next review isn't until January 2019.
