hey all

Just a quick one, Nate is doing well and we are hopeful to go home sometime next week. But for those who have asked, here’s one of our favourite pics - the first time he opened his eyes. 07C517CA-5C67-4715-BE91-BB3DF0AF15C0.jpeg

Thanks for sharing. He looks beautiful xx

Awwwwww he’s absolutely gorgeous.
I am glad to hear he is doing well .

What a cutie. Hope he gets to go home soon. How are you doing @grainger ?

Thanks everyone! We happen to think he’s pretty gorgeous too :D.
I’m doing well - recovering well from surgery and much calmer now Nate is improving so much. The aim is to be home in time for Josh’s birthday so fingers crossed we can meet that goal - otherwise we’ll be looking at ways to make a hospital special for a 4th birthday!

He’s absolutely beautiful grainger and will be home soon I’m sure. I see he’s got long fingernails. My son had those too when he was born and we had to put little cotton mitts on him to stop him scratching his face.
He’s a lovely healthy colour and a bonny little lad! 🙂

I am sure you will work something out to make Josh's birthday special for him. But fingers crossed you can celebrate at home as a family
