No, but go and get it checked out! It’s not worth risking anything, so I’d advise a trip to th GP. Hope you get it sorted soon. Katie

I agree, take your foot to the GP. There are any number of possible causes, but what it doesn’t look like is anything malignant. It may be the result of an insect bite if you’ve been in the garden wearing sandals. It looks very much like an infection, so antibiotics may be needed. Don’t attempt any self treatment.

The trouble is, the Easter break. Are there any walk in centres nearby?

I agree with Katieb in getting it checked out especially as it’s painful , it’s important to be careful about problems with our feet.

Thank you all will try and get a dr appointment. Good to have people to ask as never know when over worrying.
🙂

Take it from me when it come to our feet we can’t be too careful.

Failing a Dr's appointment - at the least, show it to a pharmacist asap.

I agree with all of the above. Why is it always when there are public holidays we get things to worry about? Good luck with getting it looked at

Pharmacists are very helpful. They diagnosed an infected bite for me once on my leg which I thought was just an allergic reaction as insects make a meal of me anyway as a general rule. I even put insect repellent on to go in the garden! That time I did not. You could try, as someone said, the walk in centre. If you think it is an infection and you are diabetic you could I suppose justify going to A & E.
