Happy Valentine's Day ❤❤❤

I too am annoyed by the over-commercialisation of Valentine's Day; if I had an OH, I wouldn't be expressing love on just one day a year (and the rest of the year, what -- draw up the battle lines?🙄).

For me, it's more significant that today is Ash Wednesday, hence probably time to have the pancakes I couldn't have yesterday because it was a dialysis day; and tomorrow is Chinese New Year, and I'll probably be sending a greeting to Calvin Fan, proprietor of the HK Now Store, with whom I've done good business.

We don't really do Valentines (commercialised nonsense)
Yesterday as a sort of Valentine's treat, I bought OH a bag of M and Ms and myself a pack of sugar free Werther's toffees to chomp through as previous experimentation has taught me that I can have quite a lot of these with no adverse diabetes ( or other more embarassing) effects
I got home today with fish and chips as a treat to discover the (non diabetic) b@@@r had scoffed all the sugar free toffees and left the M and Ms ( which was not the idea)
On the plus side he had purchased some lovely cheeses, olives and wine from out local deli, so all is forgiven.

We now have a virtual forum pet, a worthy successor to Susie who filled that role for many years. 😉 (Although, as Amanda has reminded me on FB, Susie still fills that post.😉)

Of course Susie does Robert - and thank you for giving me a reason to post more Susie photos 🙂

Thank you Amigo. Susie really was the most gorgeous beautiful little girl. Susie was a year old when I got her from the rehoming place and I can't for the life of me work out how she got there. But it was total and utter complete love when I met her and she got me through some of my worst moments in my life. She decided that Mark was going to be her Daddy when she first met him....even though it was another 18 months until we started going out with each other. I still miss her so very much.

I can totally understand why AJ but she came into your life at the right time and you were meant to look after each other. I can see why it was easy to love her exuberant little face! 😛
