Anyone know where I can get testing fluid for Nexus GlucoRx test strips. Asked the local pharmacist, but says he doesn't stock them.

Just ring the manufacturer. They’ll be happy to supply you, very probably at no cost.

Definitely the manufacturer is the only place this is available on the very very rare occasions I've ever needed any - since I've so rarely had a meter I've been suspicious of the results of - and it does happen, my couple have just been old age of the meter, so I've always accepted the (free) replacement meter the manufacturers have always offered me!

Thanks all. I've joined the Nexus web-site, and they're sending me a free bottle.

Well done, Chappy. I will now admit that in the 21 years I was testing with strips I never once calibrated the meter mid use.😳

Mikey, I spent thirty years working in the offshore oil and gas industry, and we had to regularly calibrate all measuring devices. Guess it's just something I'm used to doing. Old habits and all that!!

I just phone Menarini for test solution for my GlucomenLx meter and they send one out first class and free of charge. I check calibration once every 12 months.

I have 2 meters a Microdot and a Dario, the Microdot is free but Dario charge.

Are you known as "Two Meters Grovesy," or "Grovesy Two Meters" ? And do you have only one shed or two?
Sorry, couldn't resisit it. Hope it hasn't cause offence. 🙂

Anyone using insulin or hypoglycaemic agents - eg Gliclazide etc - should always have a spare meter 'just in case'. However best to have one the same make that uses the same strips, so there's no added prob there in case of failure of the main one.

Thanks to all. Received control solution free of charge today.
