I've been somewhat away for so long that I ought to reintroduce myself as a newbie.
I've just received yet another letter from my consultant saying that my appointment next month is cancelled. Given that the appointment they have just cancelled was itself a replacement for a cancellation, I'm not impressed.
The last cancellation they forgot to send a letter out, so I suppose at least they did this time.
No doubt this cancellation is because the consultant is on holiday! Not that I would take away their holiday (but it would be nice for them to spread the love).
Of course, this will mean that it's likely to be 2 years between appointments.
Given that they are not actually adding much value for me, I do wonder if it's worth sending my care back to my GP (who are actually quite good).
