I had my foot check with the nurse on Thursday evening and had a good laugh when I got home about it.
During the check up I mentioned about the area of skin wear I had a blister from the 4 events I completed in September, she noticed a little black dot near the blister site. She didn't want to poke it too much and told me to keep an eye on it. Finished my foot check (all OK by the way) and went home.
When I got home I had a closer look at my foot and the black dot.
Licked my finger and wiped the black dot...... Yep, you guessed it, dirt!!!
Will have to let the surgery know as its on my medical records now!!!

Haha! Brilliant. Given me a much needed laugh @Stitch147 - thank you :D

Oh Stitch, that's the sort of thing that would happen to me, must admit it did make me laugh!

Me and OH did laugh that night. The nurse seemed quite worried told me to look out for infections and to go back if it doesn't go away.

Quite right too. I attended a DUK ‘foot care’ thing that really put foot risk into focus when you have D - even when you have food pulses and sensitivity/feeling.

Ha ha! That made me laugh. Reminded me once when my eldest granddaughter came running to me hysterical because she had blood running down her arm, she was in terrible pain ( apparently) I took one look and diagnosed red felt tip pen. She just said “oh” and went back to her game! Everything is not how it seems! :D

Made me laugh as well, which is well needed here. As I have a 3 monthly foot check myself tomorrow I just double checked my toes, not a happy bunny found a black dot as well and def not dirt, strange I never spotted it before. Just sums up the weird day I have had so far.

Hope your black dot turns out to be nothing Pav. Good luck at your foot check.

Feet checked out, even had the stick prod test not had that done for years not good results there as expected, pulses were good which was pleasing and the black spot was put down to me bashing my toe on something which I never felt the joys of limited feelings.
