This T2 is proving to be expensive.🙄
3 weeks ago, before my diagnosis, I bought 8 pairs pf pants, 38" waist.
Today they are to big and starting to hang on m.
I also need to have all my belts altered to accomodate the new sylph like me.
Dropped 38" to 36"
Hope to get down to 34 which will mean more expense. lol
Woe is me.:D

Well done vince.
I found buying a couple of outfits at a time was best and wash n wear. A bit boring but cost effective.
It has taken me 2 years to accept in my head that I have look on clothes rails for now a size 10, not automatically search and reach for size 16-18. I was charity shops best friend.

Similar here Carol...have a wardrobe of clothes I can now fit into...but...hasn't stopped me from buying more...odd how we 'view' ourselves sometimes...not sure I'll ever be size 10...but relaxed with my weight now...you've done an amazing job...well done.

No effort for me, it just occurred. Don't want to be a skinny Minnie, but don't see myself as one. Others do though, and that's a bit disconcerting. Their's is the reality not my perception although I do see wrinkles, and am beginning to see the reality in the mirror if that doesn't sound daft

Congratulations @Vince_UK . Impressive weight loss. I can't imagine ever buying 8 pairs of pants at one go. Maximum I've ever bought is a pack of 5. Hope you can donate unwanted clothes to a homeless hostel or clothes bin than accepts scrap fabric if hostel doesn't want worn underwear.

Never subscribed to the 'how do I look' judgements Carol...we get what we are given...we make the best of it...personality that's what's important for me...ugly personalities are just that...ugly...yours is supportive...warm...caring...engaging...so no worries for you on that score...if I haven't convinced you...I have a fabulous new miracle eye cream...just arrived:D:D:D...will report back on that.

Great work Vince. Before I was diagnosed I lost 7 stone and went from a size 26/28 down to a 16/18 in 2 years, so I know what its like.

I've gone from a 36" waist to 32", though some 32" trousers are still loose, but 30" is too tight. I do have a rare pair of 31" shorts. They fit perfectly.

Shorts in this weather Mark...they make them hardy in Cambridge😱.

Well done on the weight loss, Vince😛...it's hard work making changes when we're older and more set in our ways.🙄 Well done to all the other 'losers' too!:D

Not rare to see people in shorts in Cambridge in all seasons - home of British Antarctic Survey HQ and Scott Polar Research Institute.

Know the feeling. I changed my diet when diagnosed pre-diabetic last year and now have hardly anything that fits me properly as I lost weight even though I was not overweight to start with. Am underweight so need to put on. Will have to do this by testing what suits me and what does not so that I don't put the bloods up. When I can stabilise my weight I will buy more but, at present, will have to buy something even if it ends up not fitting me later. Bloods are back to normal now.
