I make regularly a farmhouse fruit cake, very sweet and has a caramel/vodka liqueur poured over it. I only have a very small slice after eating dinner which isn't high in carbohydrates and so is justified - works well for me. I also use KitKats as a bedroom table, middle of the night restorative should I feel a little low (or just greedy).
