Last night (Sat), there was a programme on channel 5, Law and Order, Special Victims unit, where the theme of the programme was Diabetes.

Did anyone see it?

If you get a chance to view it on-line, you may be interested.

I would appreciate knowing other people's thoughts on it

Thanks

Hazel

Hello Shiv, thanks for the heads up

Yup, no luck on channel 5 on line - bunner.

Shame cos I think you would have enjoyed it.

They sometimes repeat those on Five USA a few days later - I'll look out for it!🙂

I watched the episode of SVU - it was basically about an obese boy who also happened to be Type 2 diabetic who was bullied by a bunch of kids. He shot one of them and his sister and brother beat up one of the others. There wasn't much about diabetes apart from a pretty stupid ending where the boy couldn't turn up at court because (all of a sudden!) his kidneys were failing and he had to have a foot amputated. I do love SVU though!
