Insulin injected in my abdomen in this hot weather! 😱 😱 😱 Probably need to reduce doses as well - thought I'd underestimated for the excess of Cornish clotted cream ice cream and fruit salad I couldn't help consuming just now, but no! I've just checked and I'm 4.1 (2.3 on Libre 😱 😱)

My levels have been running high during the very hot weather. Except when they've been running low. And the two seem randomly interchangeable. And my Libre reader on/off button has packed up! I manage to limp to the end of the current sensor, which finished this morning, rang Abbott, and they're sending me a new reader under the guarantee, and it's already been dispatched, but I'm back to finger jabbing just when I could do with a readout!

Frustrating! 😱 I think I was spoiled with my first two sensors, this one is reading around 2 mmol/l lower than a fingerprick, but it does seem to be fairly consistent in that (except when it is way out! 🙄)

My levels are running low to very low even with reducing basal by 5 units.

@Northerner have you tried proper clotted cream on top of your ice cream?

I'm also experiencing greased ferret through an oily drainpipe problems 😉 I'm having really low readings today in the high 2's and low 3's on 50% basal just because the suns out!

Ahh diabetes you really are spoiling us! 😱😉

Me too! I have given up rapid insulin all together today and still in 4's. What is going on? My sensor has a straight line in early 4';s.

Does sound delicious though, can you eat some more?

I had a day like that yesterday, and it was raining most of the day. Go figure. What the Libre does is show you just how variable D is. Keeps you on your toes, mind. There's no such thing as a routine day.

That wasn't rain Mike it was liquid sunshine :D

Also had to reduce all my quick acting because of the heat! It's crazy how fast BG shoots down in this heat!

LOL 🙂 I wish I was that predictable at the mo - I'm up, down, sideways with the heat. Hahaha🙄
